Understand our refund policy for digital products. Due to the nature of digital software, all sales are final with limited exceptions.

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final and non-refundable. Please read product descriptions, features, and documentation carefully before making a purchase. We encourage you to test any available demo versions and contact our support team with questions prior to purchasing.
Why We Have a No-Refund Policy
Authority Plugins sells digital products (WordPress plugins, themes, and software licenses) that can be instantly downloaded and used upon purchase. Unlike physical products, digital goods cannot be "returned" in a traditional sense – once delivered, they cannot be taken back. This policy protects both our business and our legitimate customers from potential misuse.
Reasons for this policy:
- Instant Delivery: Products are delivered immediately upon payment and can be used right away
- Non-Returnable: Digital products cannot be physically returned or "undone"
- Abuse Prevention: Prevents users from downloading products, using them, and then requesting refunds
- Fair Pricing: Allows us to keep prices fair for all customers
Products Covered by This Policy
This no-refund policy applies to all digital products and services sold by Authority Plugins:
- WordPress plugins (including Authority Mailer SMTP and all other plugins)
- WordPress themes
- Plugin and theme bundles
- Software licenses (single-site, multi-site, developer, unlimited)
- Annual and lifetime subscription plans
- Renewal payments
Exceptions to This Policy
While our general policy is no refunds, we may consider exceptions in the following rare circumstances:
1. Duplicate Purchase
If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, contact us within 24 hours with your order details and we will refund the duplicate purchase.
2. Critical Technical Defect
If the product has a critical defect that our support team cannot resolve within 14 days, and the defect renders the product completely unusable for its advertised purpose, you may be eligible for a refund. This does not include compatibility issues with third-party plugins, themes, or custom code.
3. Unauthorized Transaction
If you believe your payment method was used without your authorization, please contact your bank or payment provider immediately, and reach out to our support team.
What We Do NOT Refund
To be completely transparent, the following are NOT valid reasons for a refund:
- "Changed my mind" or "no longer need the product"
- Not reading the product description or features before purchasing
- Incompatibility with third-party plugins, themes, or custom code
- Incompatibility with unsupported versions of WordPress or PHP
- Your hosting environment doesn't meet minimum requirements
- The product doesn't have a feature you assumed it had (but wasn't listed)
- You found a cheaper alternative after purchase
- You no longer use WordPress or have shut down your website
- Business closure or change in business requirements
- Renewal charges (you can cancel before renewal to avoid charges)
Before You Purchase
We want you to be happy with your purchase. To make an informed decision:
- Read the Documentation: Review our product documentation to understand features and requirements.
- Check System Requirements: Ensure your server and WordPress installation meet the minimum requirements listed on each product page.
- Contact Support: If you have questions, reach out to our support team before purchasing. We're happy to help you determine if our product is right for you.
- Review Features: Make sure the advertised features match your needs.
Subscription Cancellation
For subscription-based products:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard
- Cancellation will stop future billing but does NOT trigger a refund for the current period
- You retain access to the product until the end of your current billing period
- To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date
License Revocation
In the rare case where a refund is approved under our exceptions policy:
- Your product license will be immediately revoked
- You must uninstall and delete the product from all websites
- You will lose access to updates and support
- Continued use of the product after refund constitutes license violation
Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us will result in:
- Immediate termination of your account and all licenses
- Being banned from future purchases
- Potential legal action to recover the funds and associated fees
